Exploring Equilibrium with Nathalie Wahlberg.

Together with an experienced teacher you will be guided through a workshop that aims to build up knowledge, technique and confidence in exploring foundational practices of Handstand.

Together we will work with mobility and preparatory exercises to successively shift weight onto the hands evolving the ability to enter a handstand in safe and fun ways as well as being upside-down.

By blending techniques of yoga, circus and contemporary dance Nathalie will guide you through skills and drills as well as practices on and off the wall.
The workshop is suitable for anyone who likes to learn the basics of handstands and is curious to elevate their practice.

Nathalie has a background in the performing arts as a dancer and performer. She discovered Jivamukti Yoga at the beginning of 2016 and has been a teacher of the method since 2019. Her passion for handstands has developed over years of working within the field of dance and contemporary circus where she had the opportunity to train and learn from some of the best handstand coaches in the world. Nathalie sees handstands as one of the most comprehensive practices in yoga due to its nature of dealing with presence, balance, change of perspective and overcoming fear. Through her teaching she shares her curiosity for exploring the upside-down in a creative, fun and safe way.
